No i have not submitted any appeal and out of curiosity was wondering as this is they only means of contacting them that on asking them to clarify a point i can then subsequently submit my soft appeal utilising the same PCN number

What point of clarification are you seeking? You have points of contention which the standard appeal will cover, (take out the rant paragraph, especially as Aldi have confirmed cancellation) you add a final paragraph telling them that Aldi have cancelled. You won't get any 'cosy' reception asking a PPC for 'points of clarification'.

You won't be asked for £50 as suggested by Enfield Freddy - they only ask for that after cancellation by principal and after they have already commenced legal proceedings!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Apologies for cloak and dagger I do not want post in an open forum and I am confident with the process and appeal points etc but before I contact them I wondered that having no other means of contact that on submitting my enquiry via the appeals system I will then be able to use the same reference number to submit my full appeal
