Morning folks,
Thanks to ziggy for starting us off
I've been away on business for a few days and haven't caught up yet, so I'm offering massive hugs to anyone who needs them (and what the hell, hugs even to those who don't!)
Yeah feel the love!
:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
Ahem!
So today's list:- B/L/D from stores
- Charge phone in work
- Washing out on line - done
- Tend to garden. A cat or squirrel has stepped through my root veg patch and left some big dibs in it. Have covered the bed with holly to deter further disruption!
- Tidy and sort out the house. Bit of housework. Everything is slightly out of place after being away!
- Read Martin's email - done
- Check online banking - done
- Redeem £5 cashback to account - done
- Hope that payslip arrives and do budget! - ah yes! It has arrived!

Do you enter the competitions? They are usually postal entry only and have to be on the form in the mag so you can only enter if you have the mag which cuts out the entries from the dedicated compers so you have a really good chance of winning.
I won a set of 4 Monster High dolls when DSD was much younger and left one of the magazines round our house which I then sold on ebay (she hated dolls!) I'd have been stuffed if I'd won the main prize which was a trip round the studio :rotfl:
Welcome back, Carrie!
No spend day for me today. Porridge from my store drawer and a Mr T Healthy Eating ready meal from home for lunch. I always buy a few of them for my son to eat while we're at work (minimal washing up) but he's been staying at a friend's house the last couple of nights and I don't have room in the freezer for them so I'm going to have to eat them myself so they don't go to waste.

Just noticed an error in my expenses spreadsheet meaning I've been paid less for petrol than I should. So I've been through my spreadhseet and calculated I'm due another 23.89 so I'll be claiming that this month! Please I picked up on it as it's been going on for a few months since my allowance per mile was increased!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Afternoon all
Late posting today as it is Wednesday and therefore Grandma day :T
So, modest list today
Checked banks
All meals from stores (must do supper in a minute, just having a glass of wine as baby has just gone home)
Walk with baby for free exercise for OH and I, plus entertainment (and the odd tantrum :rotfl:) for baby in the park. She is 17 months now, and runs (rings) around (poor grandma). She was exploring the paddling pool (currently empty, but with an interesting puddle) and the slide (a bit frustrating as grandma wouldn't let her walk off the top of the steps )
Watered the few things in the garden and conservatory that needed it
Fed the bits of food that baby left from her lunch to the chickens
Only spend today was a packet of wotsits for Grandad and baby to share :rotfl:
Right, better get something on for supper. A bit boring tonight, just new potatoes, asparagus (from shopping that arrived yesterday, on offer) and ham from the joint I cooked yesterday.
Have a nice evening everyone0 -
Hi All
Very busy day here. Hospital appointment. Totally exhausted after it.
Husband and I staggered around L£dl and spent £52 after using the £5 off voucher. Have got lots of staples, porridge, milk, all the boring stuff for the fridge and store cupboard. So am ready for next 2 weeks at least except for milk and veg. DH totally thrilled as has a stock of salami and fridge cured meat. Happy DH.
Off to bed now.
Have a good day all.
