Hi just wanted to check if anyone new of the best deal for phone and broadband. Im already with talk talk for phone and tiscali for 512k broadband. As im with talk talk and dont want to be cut off from using broadband for any length of time, talk talk international package giving both for £18/month is not available to me as i would have have to accept their package which charges something like £15 on top of line rental.
If i decided to take tiscali for both I would have to take line rental on top of their package for braodband which would be about£30/ month.
suppose the only option is to stay with talk talk and try and reduce my broadband by a couple of £'s,
if anyone has better advise i'd like to know,
thanks,
justin

Theres the Talk2 Package which comes with free broadband (if available in your area) at a cost of £16.39/month or £31.39/month.
This comes with free national and international calls you cant really go wrong with it.
There is also a free 30 day trial on this packacge which comes with a free modem. If you cancel within the 30 days there is no penalty.:beer:0 -
TalkTalk restrict access to many ports always refering to their fair usage policy if you intend to download software trials or play online games make sure they will allow this otherwise you may end up with a ridiculously low download speed (mine has dropped from 8Mb to less than 56Kb for some downloads).
Plus-net do a very good package and explain their restrictions clearly but it is about £33 per month for 200 minutes of calls and full 8Mb broadband(line rental is included).
I currently pay about £23 per month to talktalk for a system that is next to useless.
Be Aware you only get what you pay for!!!!0 -
