We had a flat we rented out for a while, and when we sold up we had a house sale to get rid of all the stuff in the flat, then disposed of anything left over. The neighbour across the landing asked as a favour if we would sell his wall unit at the same time. We carried it in, put a price ticket on it and it didn't sell. When we were clearing out he wasn't in, so we carried it out and left it on the landing. We left the flat completely empty, and very clean.

Cue entry day and the new owner, who was an awkward sod anyway, got on the phone shouting and screaming about us having left a wall unit on the landing. I tried to explain that it was the neighbours but he 'knew' it was ours, because it had one of our price tickets on it. I eventually put the phone down with him threatening to come and dump it in our garden.

I never heard any more, so I expect the neighbour had admitted ownership.

which i exactly why I dont like them, they are loyal only to themselves and will go off with anyone they think they can get more out of.

Unlike dogs, which truly are loyal.

I think the comparison with cats and women holds true in many cases ;)

Although it would be pretty unusual to be left a woman by your house's previous owners.

I have a story about clean, I cleaned my toilet the other week normally the wife does it as I cook, spent a good 10 mins it was gleaming. About two hours later I went to use said toilet but I had my glasses on IT WAS FILTHY!! I vowed I will always wear glasses when I clean!

So some people might not be dirty just blind!

Slavish devotion versus a free, independent spirit. You must hate female emancipation. :rotfl:
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
