Hi,
Just wondering if anyone's had experience dealing with Dominion Homes, in particular in relation to their resales department ? They seem to be an agency that took over shared ownership schemes from certain housing associations.
I'm trying to buy a shared ownership flat through their resales department, and they are sloooow ! Getting replies to queries seems to take a very long time.
Anyone dealt with them before and got any tips about how to work with them ?
thanks

Wish I could help.
I have experience of them but in the department you mention.
I am unfortunately a tenant
But yep they're sloooooooowww in every department I believe. The only one that had a quick response was the complaint dept!!! Lol
And even with efficient complaints dept, helping/dealing to rectify the mistake it took several months and lots of wasted appointments (ie ones that were not needed)
I found that just keeping on at them sometimes works. If you do get a helpful person get their direct number or e-mail. So you can liaise directly with them and not have to explain the whole situation to someone new each time.0 -
Thanks for that. Yep it seems like they're testing me on the old 'patience is a virtue' maxim ! If you get an answer in under a week you seem to be doing well. If its an answer which makes sense, you're doing amazingly well !
Sorry to hear you're a tenant - I feel for you.0 -
Currently selling via a2dominion, slow at first but fine now, like a normal sale process. Helps that our vendors estate agent chases them!0
