Have you checked any of these, as I said in post #10:

Thermostate, spark plugs, leads, lamber sensors, oil & filter change, see if the brakes are binding, and check the timing.

Your returning around 20 mpg at 25p per mile.

How many miles are you doing a month on average?

longest journey was probably 8 miles during that time so I expect the MPG to be low.

Looks like its time to upgrade the car :)

Buy an electric. With that driving pattern you're killing the battery, cat, and in a modern diesel, DPF.

I probably do an average of around 200-250 miles per month.
Car was serviced a month ago so oil and filter are new and brakes were also checked.
Not checked anything else but will have a look over the weekend.

I am considering an Electric car :)
Only passed my test coming up 2 years ago and the Focus was bought as a first car as I kind of expected scrapes etc. Happy to say the cars paintwork is still in the same condition :)
