EE price changes for 08 and 09 numbers - but not for Local Rate 0845/0870 calls?
While stumbling around the EE website looking for the price for calling an 0844 number, I found that EE has published some details of proposed changes to the pricing of calls to various non-geographic numbers that will take effect on 1st July.

contains the details of the new system of call charges.
The article says that the changes will affect numbers starting
The article also doesn't mention 0844 numbers. Do those also stay the same?

Freephone numbers, starting 0800 or 0808, will become free for consumers to call from all mobile phones and landlines. At present, operators are allowed to charge for these calls.
For all numbers starting 084, 087, 09 and 118, the new system will make the cost of calls clearer than at present. The actual cost of each call will be determined by the level of the access charge set by your phone company, plus the service charge. There may be some changes to the cost of individual calls, as telephone companies adapt to the new charging system.
Its all explained here http://www.ukcalling.info/0 -
That other site seems to suggest that all 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers are affected.
It doesn't agree with EE's very specific list, which appears to deliberately omit 0845 and 0870.
EE must have a reason for publishing a different list?0 -
