Where has this talk about J tickets come from. The OP hasnt said where they are sitting but my guess is economy so the business seating would be irrelevant

The last time I flew from MAN in an AA Boeing 767 , I described it as being packed into an old flying she'd and being looked after by hatchet faced harridans.
Consider it as merely transport, rather than anything good.0 -
So you expect an airline to pander to you and make sure there are no nut products on board and that no one on the flight has any on them either??
Good job you didn't try flying with AA, they would have offloaded you
