    Also had a great flight with them on an older 777 in J last November. Very friendly staff.

    Where has this talk about J tickets come from. The OP hasnt said where they are sitting but my guess is economy so the business seating would be irrelevant

    The last time I flew from MAN in an AA Boeing 767 , I described it as being packed into an old flying she'd and being looked after by hatchet faced harridans.

    Consider it as merely transport, rather than anything good.
