Your annual kWh figures are on your annual statement, or phone the supplier and they have to give them to you. Or go back to 2 bills approx one year apart and deduct the earlier reading from the latter on each register. The difference is your annual usage in kWh. It doesn't have to be exactly 365 days, you can pro-rata if near enough.
Post the tariff name as well.
There is no issue with Npower from what you have told us so far.

but I also wanted to know if anyone else has had or is having the same issues from NPower
Loads of people are. There billing system is in melt down and they may not be using your readings for billing and generating these DD figures from randomly generated numbers. That is why we need to see actual kWh figures, £s are pretty meaningless on their own.
  • Ok so I just went onto my online NPower account and my meter readngs when I first moved into the house which was 05 Dec 2013 was:
    DAY: 218
    NIGHT: 616
The last meter readings I took (16 March 2015 were)
    DAY: 5505
    NIGHT: 6869

I was on the price fix April 2015 tarriff which has now come to an end and the charges were:
Tariff name Price Fix April 2015 DD Economy

    _7

    Tariff type Fixed

    Payment method Monthly Direct Debit

Day unit rate 16.99p per kWh

Night unit rate 5.62p per kWh

    Standing charge 13.69p per day

Those figures cover 2 winters, which makes pro-rata-ing tricky, can you find figures nearer to 1 year apart? One of your bills should have an annual statement.

Copied this from my last bill, they bill me every 6 months

    Day - meter readings:
    27th Septemer 2014 - your reading 2673
    16 March 2015 - your reading 5505

kWh used over 171 days 2832

    Night - meter readings:
    27th September 2014 - your reading 4358
    16th March 2015 - your reading 6896
kWh used over 171 days 2538

    Total: 5370

So go back to the previous bill (March 2014) and that should give you the figures approx 365 days apart. Then do the maths as explained above.
As I said, working it out on 15m including two winters distorts the figures too much, as you'll have used maybe 80% of your annual total in the coldest quarter, and most of that will be (or should be) on cheap rate.
Worked out on 15m, you are using 54% on night rate, but that will come down a lot with 12m figures.

Just had a look March 2014 the figures were:
    1437 day
    1065 night
Still wondering though why they agressed £106 a month with me over the phone but sent me a letter saying £138 a month which I cannot afford :/

OK, so from March 2013-March 2014 you have used 4,269kWh on day rate and 3,603kWh on night rate. Total 7,872kWh. Approx 45% on night rate-so E7 is correct for you.
Can you please confirm the name of your current tariff-since April?
I've calculated it on standard variable and that would cost you £1,126pa or about £94 pm. Which is exactly the figure they've told you you are using. The problem is that last year you weren't using only £64 worth per month-you were paying only £64, so (assuming consistent usage) you were building arrears at about £30 a month.
The way to avoid this is to give reading at least every 3 months so you get billed on actual figures. Once you clear the arrears (which should drop fast now the heating is going off), your DD should reduce back to around £94.
I also suggest you use any comp site with your annual kWh figures and postcode to find the cheapest E7 tariff, as the npower fixes do not look very competitive.
