Part refund request, how would you deal with this?

Are they taking the !!!!? Some people:mad:
Unless the item was faulty, I'd tell them to do one. Not your fault if they haven't shopped around before making a purchase.0 -
I would expect bad feedback regardless what you do.
I'm surprised ebay haven't already implemented some policy regarding price matching. If or when they I would imagine it would be along the lines of:
"find your item for sale on ebay cheaper within 180 days of purchase and your seller will refund you the difference plus 10%"0 -
So does she think Tescos is scamming her if a product she bought is £3 cheaper in Asda?
Mind baffles0 -
Latest message from buyer is:
If you were at all honest you would have refunded the difference by now as a goodwill gesture. You have left me no choice but to leave a negative feedback.
Can I report her for feedback extortion? She has not left feedback yet, maybe giving me a last chance to refund the £30 -

In your place I'd phone ebay now and talk to them, even though I wouldn't hold out much hope. Assuming your account can take the defect I'd let her do whatever she wants- a neg can often damage a buyer as well, I've several people blocked purely because of the un necessary negs or neutrals they have left for others.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. My defects are 0.76 (4 out of 526 transactions) and that includes 2 for INR so I'm not too concerned. I have a clean slate this month.
Will wait for her to leave feedback.0 -
If they're persistently messaging you, I'd be inclined to ring ebay up to report them, explain the situation and ask them to see if it's a pattern of behaviour.
If you have offered a refund on return, they may be inclined to protect you if the buyer chooses to be vindictive.0 -

Sold item to buyer, buyer finds it £3 cheaper elsewhere and wants me to refund the difference. What would you suggest?
I am thinking about asking her to send it back for a refund however not particularly keen on getting a negative!
Hi I have received this item and have since found it is on sale on the xxx website for £xx! I'm not happy about this you're obviously ripping people off. I am requesting that you refund me the £3 difference please.
Hi, tell her you found one 10 pound dearer so please send me 7 pounds.
Let that be the final e mail.0 -
