    Morning all

Welcome Amy - the whole idea of this is that we can often struggle to continue to make headway with the debt busting once we've done the big the big cut backs in Martins Money Makeover and sold stuff or made money from big ideas. PADding helps us keep up the momentum by little and often so is often more achievable.

So true jet9cat. I started the 'paying big chunks off' and 'make a huge repayment every month to x or y debt and then it'll be paid off sooner' - great short term. Not so great long term :(

Padding is not about judging or telling you what to do - it's the wee little 120cals of chocolate you need after just 'one of those days/weeks/months on the treadmill' -

I was up at 3.30am  and I have my own trials to deal with

But just remember the song (get it as an earworm :rotfl:) - keep on padding....padding from thy heart....one fine day you're going to get debt free, cos I know you will, oh yeah, I know you will
