Congrats on clearing the cc Bobarella - it's such a good feeling, isn't it?

    Thanks Milky!:j

Todays PAD is £13.52 to CC1. I made the payout limit of £4 on Shoptize (actually took out £4.55) plus did a tidy on my account balances.

  • Been AWOL for a while, but today I am debt free.

It is not a celebration, nor does it feel like a great personal achievement, as I sadly had to lose someone special for this to happen.

But it is a huge chance for me to make a fresh start, and I will be eternally grateful for that.

As a lasting legacy to this amazing person, I have made a promise that I will never ever again be in debt, and will be very careful about how I use my finances.

I am keeping my frugal living challenge going, and from now on my PADs will be going into savings....if I don't have the money, I ain't buying!

Huge thanks to everyone on this thread for their support, and I hope to be able to carry on supporting others on here, whilst putting away a little every day.

So today my first PAD to savings is 1.50

Finally remembered to come back on with yesterday's total, which was

    £341.35

Daydream - so sorry to hear about you losing someone special to you. Normally we would all be celebrating you being debt free with virtual beers/cake or one of Erme's dancing llamas but not so appropriate in your circumstances. Good luck on your fresh start.
