    Morning all!

My PAD today is £13.92, which takes the balance on my Virgin CC to £2199.99!

It's so good to get below a £100 boundary!!! Even if it is only by a penny!!!

Oh no Dizzy! I hope he feels suitably ashamed when you are working so hard to pay everything off!

Err...nope. He says it's all stuff we "need" for the house - you know, mirrors, light fittings, flood lights FOR THE HOUSE THAT IS AN EMPTY SHELL. Why couldn't he wait for the insurers to pay out?

Oh dear....is he generally less MS than you or is this out of character?

Completely normal for my ostrich of a husband. It's why he's in so much debt. He hasn't had a LBM. Ever.

Lots of "useful" things  see above!

Anyway - I've taken his card off him! I've had enough of trying to explain the money situation, so I'm now telling him. He's due a big bonus from work in June, but no figure confirmed yet. In his head he can spend now, as there's money on the way.

Another £500 for me today. Still cross.

    Morning all!

£20.00 to Natwest loan for today please - I figured out I could make payments into my loan account - they charge 56 days interest in the amount I pay, but still better than the 3 years there is left to run on it so I'll take that hit! It's my only interest bearing account now so time to get working on it!
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭

My credit card limits have been increased again today. They are now allowing me to borrow nearly £12,000. I think that's ridiculous! Not using it, not using it, not using it....

£16 to Barclaycard for me today x

You dont have to accept it. Tell them to keep it at the level it is now , or even reduce it

Sunshine I have recently had the same thing with MBNA. They have informed me that next month my total will go from £7,500 to £12,000 which is an insane amount to suggest someone borrows on a credit card basis in my view. No wonder people get into trouble these days.
