Payment A Day Chapter 16

TGIF PADding friends - we're nearly at the weekend!
Calling - I still have a spendy CC too, which I use when the need arises. Sometimes it's to buy food, sometimes a little treat (we are allowed these on occasion) I know it's not strictly MSE but a little treat now and then stops the huge rebellious blow-out that's entirely more difficult to pay off.
£80 to Tesco CC please Selene x
totally with you on the 'little treats to avoid big blow outs' Dizzy
Bad few days head wise and trying to work out rattie treatment plan on flower remedies . Basil changed drops last night so here's praying no bites (no bites 1 week on emergency remedy) as said furry needs cleaning out today
Don't mention the budget  - Monday is another day!!! I feel like I need my own MSE mantras and I need a good dose and like yesterday anyone?
And first froot loop sleep in a week so not great but has been worse

Hi all - I hope no one minds but seeing the daily totals really motivates me so I was totting up and thought I may as well post it (hope you don't mind Selene, not trying to step on toes)
March 2nd - £211.86
March 3rd - £691.48
March 4th - £223.36Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -
£30 to Barclaycard for me today x doing a lot of quick posting recently, but trying to get my life organised!!!0
-
Thanks for the totals Kirsty - hope Selene's ok.
Adding £50 to the Barclaycard for me today - and that one is now clear. Unfortunately not the time for dancing llamas or virtual cake as the debt hasn't gone just been shuffled on to new cards but hey, it's kept it at 0% so I'm paying debt not interest so that's all good.
I too have spendy cards - one for me for the household so all food, birthday presents, pet stuff, hair cuts etc goes on it - and one for OH which he uses for materials for business which then gets paid off when client pays, cash flow for the one man trader being a dicey issue. Household one gets paid in full every month. Both are reward cards. I never count payments to these in the PAD amounts except when they've been used for treats/hobbies etc, ie the sort of thing that used to get us in debt. As others have said, the odd treat is fine - we have to live a little too - but it has to be paid for asao so it doesn't add to the debt. However, all payments to the balance ccs - now all on Llyds and FD - are counted.Every penny's a prisoner
PADding is addictive
