Oh DizzyImp there are no words. I hope tomorrow (today even) will be kinder and 2016 will be your year. The floods reached our area on Boxing Day, so much damage though luckily we were personally unaffected. We did get stuck in 3 hours of traffic though thanks to a 20ft sinkhole opening up on the motorway, that wasn't fun with two screaming babies at bedtime....

Yesterday was a quiet day with PADs of £100.36 - well done everyone. Has anyone thought of any MSE related resolutions yet? My first one is to be debt free, I've joined the 'debt free by Christmas 2016' thread as I think that is the very earliest it can be acheived (and only by being on this thread too!)

Are there any volunteers for counter upper for January? Obviously happy to continue, but if someone wants to take the reins for the month it is very motivating.

    Have a lovely day xx

Dizzy I have no words. My wee problems seem nothing in comparison :(

All I can say is hugs and prayers icare.gif - How on earth you are managing to keep breathing with all that going on I don't know. Padding can wait - do what you need to do to stay alive and remember to come up for air:)

I'm in bits for you Dizzy

  • Good afternoon fellow PADders :hello:

Back from Christmas break and total spend was £133 and pre-allocated petrol money but still haven't done budget for January so my PAD today is £2 to moneybox please Sunshine :T

Dizzy Imp - am so very sorry to hear your news. Your grandma must have had some spirit to last until almost 105 and I think we can all see that same spirit in you with what you have gone through lately and you are still here and fighting. I truly hope things start to get better soon and 2016 is a wonderful year for you. Love and hugs x.

Have a super day everyone :snow_laug

No money for PADs today but having just caught up on the thread didn't want to read and run without saying that I'm really feeling for you, Dizzy. What a terrible time you are going through at the moment. MSE can wait, you just concentrate on looking after yourself. Hugs and positive vibes sentout to you.

Thanks everyone. Still feeling battered and bruised from it all, but I've been through worse, believe it or not (widowed at 35 through suicide, prosecuting a member of the police for breach of confidentiality and miscarriage to name a few) so I'll bounce back in a few days. Did manage a PAD today of £40.50 please Sunshine x

Dizzy you have gone through such a lot, thinking of you and your family.

PAD of £2.15 for me today please sunshine. I'd love to be counter upper at some point but I'm working away 3 times next month and the same in Feb so not sure if I'll be able to access the forum while I'm away (although I will find a way to PAD no matter what!)
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
