That feels better - I've made a PAD of £44 to OH's cc today courtesy of more ebay sales.

Dizzy - thanks for the hugs. I'm doing OK really, just enough to cover the last bill of the month but I don't like it if I go too long without a PAD as don't want to fall out of the habit!. Anyway, you are so lovely thinking of others when you have enough problems of your own after the flood.

    Morning peeps :hello:

Bank account looking dire - need to shuffle things and boot insurance company up the backside to get the emergency payment paid to me ASAP. Hugs to you Jet9Cat and Erme - sounds like you're both going through the mill at the moment. December is a very hard month for debt busting. Frankly I've just added to our debt this month with all the extra expense but January will be different, with luck.

I got debt free one October. I didn't feel the benefit for months so completely get you with this 'can't shift debt month'....it happens guys and tis just a blip. Nothing to sweat about. If I recall my debt busting days you could quite easily say good bye to debt busting from September till January and that's with forgoing the January sales....

Like I said - don't sweat it guys. Am sure dizzy is not the only one here and you folks will live to lift your heads up another days...

I still have the dizzy bug and also an ear infection so am doing my great 'avoid the medics thing and using garlic (raw - orally and in oil). Google also said urine - hmmm....I think not! Some teen can try that :rotfl::rotfl:

So yeah not much happening here but still. Tomorrow I start my holiday season projects - putting linux on this lappie (about 5 years since I last used linux if not longer!!!)

I'm still strapped but OH should get paid next week so PAD can begin again then. Still reading though everyone :)

Ooh, nice PAD Sashanut - and just before Crimble too!! TTFTM - yours was a whopper too!
Laurra - just look at what your ickle PADs have totalled this month - nearly £50!! See, every penny really does count :D

My PAD today is £25, paid to the council to collect and remove all the flood-damaged white goods. Should've been more, but the lads took pity on me, bless them. One left me his mobile number, if I needed any other help. Aren't strangers sometimes so kind ? :A Anyway, didn't resort to a CC, so we're now having sparrow, not turkey for dinner on the big day...

Erme - I've got visions of you walking around with cloves of garlic sticking out of your ears now! My imagination jumped to that before I'd finished reading your post. The good news is the vampires won't stop at your place today ;)

Thanks for keeping count Sunshine x

    Hi all!

Finally sorted my spreadsheets out so £347.97 for me today please :)

Sorry to read and run, in the middle of errands but hope everyone is doing ok in spite of illnesses/flooding etc :)
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
