I just had major head frazzle. CD drive not loading cd's on mac.. Phoned apple care. They suggested a nice frugal cleaning of the CD lens.....
I did that (it's a slot drive so I had to google it - it cost me the grand total of £1.49 for lens cleaner) and it's working
So now I just have to postie stalk for cables to replace my hard drive :P
And we're one happy bunny (and yes I slept better)

PS: Flump - I hated the bank so much I used to pay in pennies everyday just because I could. The statement every six months used to be humungous - lol they hated it.
