From U.K. to Copenhagen by coach?

Google ear pain, or deafness when flying and you will see medical explanations of why people go deaf when flying, including some cases where the ear drum fluids do not equalize again afterwards and need to be lanced by a doctor.
Its very true, and it happened to me, and its painful.
And flying is scary. Too scary for me, if i had to fly again i would simply not go, if i was arrested and deported from a country by plane i would scream, i would freak out and they would have to send me by boat or train, i would kick and fight and not get on that plane.
No flying for me ever again, everyone else in the world can go ahead and fly i will take the traditional routes.
But thanks for the info and trying to help. :beer:Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

Have a look at http://www.seat61.com/Denmark.htm for train travel, though you'll likely find it much more expensive than coach.
Last time I went to Copenhagen by train the train (well the carriages anyway) went on the ferry between Puttgarden and Rodby, that was quite interesting, I was asleep and woke to find the train swaying back and forth slightly, didn't realise it went on the boat! That was decades ago - not sure if they still use that route.0 -

Well that is a option
i think the ferry from Hawich is now discontinued, so Regina would be the only way.
Train i think from that site is going to be too expensive, maybe coach is better for a trip like this. As long as it stops occasionally for a leg stretch i don't mind. And as long as i am not say next to someone really smelly or annoying then i don't mind that either.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

I'm sure there is still a route where the train goes on the ferry. I looked into it the other summer and nearly booked it.
To the OP, I have no idea about the route from UK (I looked into it from Poland) but go for it. I enjoy holidays and flying but I also spending a few days getting to places and seeing random stuff. If you're not bothered about cheapest ticket and time it'll be fun.0 -

Maybe worth looking at getting the Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry and then looking at Train or bus departures from there?
I would have thought it would give you a lot more optionsChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
