Was surprised to get a response on a Sunday from Mr Clark asking me for copies of the correspondence to which I refer and saying that....

You will be surprised to learn that there is no regulatory body for the private parking sector - we have long lobbied for one. As things stand we provide self-regulation and in this matter, if we conclude that the operator has breached the Code then appropriate sanctions will be taken.

I'd love to think that they'll be stripped of their membership if they don't clean up their act but I've read enough on here to be dubious. Have forwarded him the letter so we'll see.

I'd also complain to the DVLA, highlighting that the BPA isn't a regulatory body and someone needs to enforce the KADOE contract.

Will do, is there anyone in particular at the dvla it's best to direct it to? I'm also emailing the managing agent who actually pay them (although they don't allow anything in their dodgy gpeol calculation on the rejection letter for monies already paid) to patrol although I've tried them before and they flatly refused to get involved.

Case closed by BPA, received an email signed AOS Investigations informing me that CPM were unaware of the appeal and that they have now frozen the charge. In answer to my statement about POPLA having several similar queries I was simply told....

Please be advised, I deal with all POPLA related complaints with our Members and therefore if UK Car Park Management were regularly pursuing motorists when an appeal is with POPLA I would be made aware of it. I have logged your complaint and will monitor the situation in the future.

Don't have much faith. The appeal was due to be heard yesterday or soon after and I've had no copy of evidence from CPM, is it usual? I had 2 allowed appeals last year and they didn't send anything to POPLA then either but I don't trust them not to submit it without copying me in.

    UKCPM never submit any evidence.

Seems they have made this mistake a few times.

Dont have any faith in ANYONE in the industry no matter who they are.
