I have a second hand 54 plate Mondeo which is a Ghia originally owned by my dad and believe it was 'top spec' when bought new - I have no idea which bits of it were optional extras and which were bog-standard. OK, I could ask the original owner in this instance, but most people don't have that luxury, so how would you even check?
