    I've just signed up with GB Energy too. Couldn't do it online so called them. My MPAN was apparently wrong on the system so I hope it does all go through. I too can put up with a bit of hassle for lower bills. We will see how it goes.

    Hi, I signed up for GBENERGY dual fuel on 28th May and having seen the above comments/ concerns I thought it might be useful to share my experiences so far. I received a Welcome pack immediately, showing correct details - personal and tariffs, and a subsequent message advising that the transfer process was proceeding well. Having seen the above comments re. customer service issues and access to their on - line system I decided to phone them this dinnertime (lunchtime for posh folks☺). They answered my call in less than 1 minute and I spoke with a very helpful chap, with a Yorkshire accent. He answered my questions simply and politely and sent me an email, providing access to my online profile, whilst I was on the phone to him.

    Once I had put the phone down, I used the link in the email to create a password to my account and that was it! I had access to my account and could see My Profile and access area for registering meter readings, Until my supply transfer is completed (28th June) I will not be able to input the meter readings, but so far everything has happened as it should.

    The chap accepted that their had been issues with their systems and explained that these should all be resolved in the next few days. Time will tell of course, but I have no reasons to complain about the transfer process so far.
