It doesn't necessarily mean anything - the EA may have just added that to bump it back up on RightMove if it's been on the market a while.0

Yep sorry - seems that I wasn't clear. THey also have an asking proce -£270000.
We have viewed it and it looks fine - the decor is rather stale and everything is a little bland but that's obviously not a problem.
While it didn't make my heart skip a beat it tickled my sensible gland!
In that case, could be just like any other bit of EA speak, offers over, ONO, OVNO etc. To be ignored and offer what you think is worth.0 -
Don't just look at the house, look hard at the neighbours and the immediate neighbourhood; the latter at different times, especially evenings. Run a search for recent planning applications nearby too.
If it's in an area where "houses shift very quickly" and it hasn't, people may have seen something worse than a bit of tired blandness.0 -

This is what i was (over)thinking. It sounds a bit 'desperate'.0 -
I always assume that the blurb is written by the EA's and that the vendor hasn't had any input.0

My translation of this is;
Estate agent getting !!!!ed off with vendor's optimistic asking price, and want a few offers at a realistic price to lower their expectations."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0
