Sky increase

Hi Guys
Signed up to Sky in November last year and have just had a letter advising £3.50 a month increase

Movies - 0.50p
Family Bundle - 2.00 gbp

I dont intend to move Sky but i am a little peeved it can go up in the first 12 months , before i go through the pain of live chat or call centre , is it normal and am i just going to have to suck it up?

Thanks

It can go up the day after you contract, because it's not a fixed price contract.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Ask if you can cancel penalty free, if you can, they will then offer you a retention deal if you're prepared to go through with cancelling.
    It's always worth a try.

    Here you are:-
In your minimum term TV/Sky+/Sky HD and Multiscreen prices may increase once by up to 10% of the standard price or the increase in the UK Retail Price Index, whichever is greater.
