and the ethernet cable is the blue cable that comes with the router??

a cable going from ur wall into a box.
then another box which plugs into the first box?

nope dont have to put username or anything in it just loads up straight away.
we have the cable (modem) from the wall which plugs into this small blue box then the box has a usb cable at the other end of it which connects to the computer. we only have one box there isnt twoFeb 2013 - two debts cleared, three to go. I will be debt free by Christmas 2013!!

well everyone is asking diff questions, so its trying to be solved in 3 diff ways....
and from that ur modem is a USB modem, so u will need to speak to NTl and tell them u want a USB and ethernet modem. or just a ethernet modem.
which may look something simlar to the old telewest modem

All NTL modems have both USB and Ethernet, therefore no "need to speak to NTL".

just off the sounds of this, it doesnt seem like it does. well if it does all u need is an ethernet cable. and thats it.
just plug that into the belgin router than 1 into the PcC then setup the wireless0 -
