Thanks for all the good wishes.

Unfortunately when I visited this afternoon hoping to be told what treatment was possible - I saw one of the doctors who had to tell me, surgery etc was not an option.

Came home and told dd as I did not want to break news on the phone and she will get a friend to drive her to pick up youngest DD at uni. Older DD and her husband will get here later tonight.

Made a couple of phone calls to relatives and still hoping I have somehow misunderstood but have to be realistic.

It's good that the family are with you, you will need their strength and support. I'm so sorry to hear the news and send good wishes to you, your DH and the girls. Tough times ahead so please look after yourself too.

I'm so very sorry to read your post elona my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. x Take care of yourselves and take comfort having your DDs to support you.

Well at least its Friday so I have a couple of days to catch up with all the usual chores and shopping.

I have been doing the grocery challenge, but its not gone well this month and I know I've gone over my set budget, and its not payday until next week. I will just have to start again for May next week.
