I cannot understand why the press and media are suggesting that this doctor will get struck off. That is taking speculation to an extreme in my view.0

Hardly "extreme", she did get convicted of assaulting two police officers. She now has a criminal record and will be automatically referred to the GMC.
I don't think she will be struck off, but it is very possible.0 -
'He said (the Judge) he had no doubt her drink had been spiked, but that this was not a defence in law.'
How does that work? Lots of mental health patents are let off, so why shouldn't she as she was not her self because of a drug / spiked drink.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0 -

She wil definitely be struck off, as will the tax fraudster consultant.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

I haven't heard the evidence but the case has already been tried and she has been found guilty.
The judge ruled that involuntary intoxication was not a defence in law but was strong mitigation. After all, she assaulted 2 police officers and a conditional discharge was imposed.0 -
