As is often the case, the 'winner' will declare that this precedent affects 'all PPC cases', and the 'loser' will declare that the ruling only applies to 'a very small subset with an excruciatingly precise set of conditions that need to be fulfilled'.

In the meantime the 99% of PPC tickets that never make it to popla or even SCC will continue to be churned out and paid without a whimper from 40% of people who get them.

That's why the PPCs absolutely love POPLA and Beavis......we all get so tied up in shouting about stuff that doesn't really matter, that we miss the scum operating in broad daylight.

    Ain't that the truth.

The real hope for Beavis is that it gives solid grounds for reclaiming, that's what'll kill these barstewards when they fold under the weight of claims and the lawyers then start gunning for the principals.

But if, as I've been saying for weeks, it lands in the Supreme Court you can look forward to years of limbo during which the PPC's will continue to fill their boots.
