Afternoon all, great news La Escosa (house) and JoJo (down to last credit card.

Breakfast was from stores but bought a sandwich for lunch but made sure it was one of the 'only ham' ones so was only £1.10p. It was however really boring so that'll teach me.

The Pandora bracelet and charms I bought on Achica for my mum's birthday arrived yesterday and the bracelet was too small (for me anyway and I'm guessing we have similar sized wrists) so I've sent it back so nearly £100 to be credited to my account (cheeky boogers didn't include VAT in the price shown when I bought it either, not at all happy about that.) I will probably buy her a handbag instead which she'd actually prefer.

I had an email from prospective house seller and all is chugging along at their end (getting builder quotes for where they may move to) but not moving fast enough for my estate agent who is getting a bit twitchy. I know he's worried about me losing my buyer but if it happens then with the dearth of properties on the market at the moment and the prices being charged for them I might actually get more for it by putting it back on the market again.

My Zen-like state is slowly wearing off as everything seems to be a bit of a shambles here.

Dinner tonight will be from the freezer, not sure what but there seems to be plenty of stuff lurking in there.

    Have great day all :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

Guys I am just doing a post and run I'm afraid but I hope when you read what I have to say you will forgive me :)

So having put through my complaint against the ombudsman last week, about the handling of my complaint against my insurer (keep up ;) ) I got an email and a letter today informing me that after a year almost to the week, & being lied to verbally and in writing, my insurer have accepted liability.
They are going to pay me what I should have recieved and they accept there was problems with the sales process and documentation I recieved as a new business.
I am at work but I could sob.
Anyone else fighting a big company where the odds feel stacked against you, keep going. I've felt like I was going mad so many times during this process it's untrue.

Will be back later to read everyone else's news.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello Again
Thanks all very much, it feels a bit surreal to be honest. Husband has printed out the forms at work for me to sign this evening. I've been swinging between elation & wanting to do more to expose what a corrupt practise this company have going on. I cant believe I am the only small business to have honestly paid my premiums and then been treated like poo when it comes down to it. I wish there was something I could do to help others not go down this road too, but what?

La E - Amazing news on your house!!!! I know what you mean about not counting your chickens, but I do hope you feel pleased as you can at this stage. I also havent heard of that financial expert which surprises me as Im a bit of a geek on that score.

JoJo - I love how you have got smiling on your to do list to get tips :) Try this one, apparerntly, people tip better (especially male on female server) if you draw a smiley face on the bill, goodnes knows the science on that one but I read it yesterday. I didnt get a bean in my tips today. Meanies :)
Ziggy - Great result on all your decluttering, I bet your son will be delighted with that money.
Dawn - I make feta, spinach & tomato rolls too, with puff pastry. They come out lovely, like sausage rolls but veggie
Twiggy - Its baking here, my washing is dry in an hour at the moment!
Immoral Angel & Carrie - I am so envious of all your lovely garden produce. Sounds great for saving a few quid on the food bill as well.
DD265 - Good luck finding a new place.
Hannah - Your breakfast smoothie sounds interesting. I've just bought a juicer/blender for the shop, so I am interested to get a few recomendations on flavours to try if you have any thoughts?
PPP - See you on the other side then :)
BB - Shredding is the bane of my life. My shredder is so random. Cuts out after about 5 mins...so I always have it to do. Try and do some each day to keep from overheating it but...zzzzz
FVD - Im sure your estate agent is just itchy feet for his commision. Am sure it will all be moving along soon.

    Night all.
