We went with Kuoni to Malaysia and Singapore. Excellent service - they will taylor the holiday to suit your requirements. We had flights with Malaysian (great service), three internal flights (one from the old KL airport which is almost shut - v wierd!), ferry and taxis pick ups for transfers there were no hitches at all. All our reps were from Tour East and the service they provided was also second to none.
  • Hi

I have just been on my honeymoon to KL and Langkawi, got back yesterday, we had an amazing time.

We booked it all ourselves, saved a wedge on what the travel agents wanted. We satyed at Hotel Maya in KL opposite Petronas Towers - had a deluxe suite, was great. Then stayed at Casa del Mar in Langkawi after reading reviews on trip adviser, we weren't disappointed.

You will have an amazing time in Langkawi, we were sad to leave, it is a beautiflu beautiful place.

PM me if you want to know anything.

    Regards

  • I did Langkawi for two weeks, flew down to KL for three nights (which in my opinion was more than enough) and then over to Borneo for a week. I used www.bestattravel.co.uk if you email them with your requirements they will price it up for you, they were the cheapest when I went.
PM if I can be of any help with info etc.
  • Dear OP,

I went to KL on business for a week via Singapore Airlines (good on the way out, rubbish on the way back).

I stayed in the Hilton KL in an executive room (the mid-range option, not first class but business class if you understand). I *dream* of taking my wife there on a holiday sometime. 54 inch plasma TV, rain shower, best breakfast in my 32 years. All for something like 65 GBP a night. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. KL was fantastic as well!
