I have bought a Konig VHS adapter to use with my Handicam tapes, however Im thinking this is not going to work as I cannot seem to get them into the adapter.
Here is a pic of the adapter and the tapes, one front side and one reverse.

Any help. These camcorder tapes are not the HI8 im thinking these are not the ones for the adapter.

Your were warned on your other thread, in post #7 and again in post #12, that that adapter would only work with VHS-C tapes.
The tapes you have pictured are Video8, a predominantly Sony thing... and you mentioning 'Handicam' sort of confirms that.
Video8 and Hi8 are the same physical dimensions.
The only way to play those is in a Video8 player, or some Hi8 players can cope with them too.
By saying 'player', I of course include the possibility of playing back in a suitable camcorder too.0 -

Buying that adapter was a good buy really, Ive converted some tapes for a friend.
however, Apart from a Sony Camcorder is there any other 'camcorders' that took the P5-90 8mm video cassettes? This is the next thing on my list to buy. Ive searched for a Sony camcorder on google but seem to be few around these days. All the big powers they've silenced me.
