Can I Transfer My Number From T Mobile To EE?

Due to not being offered a decent upgrade, I was wondering whether I could pac my number over from T Mobile to EE, if I took out a brand new contract with EE?

Does anyone know? Do we have any EE representatives on the board?

No you can't port from T-Mobile to EE, they are the same company (even though a different brand).

You can transfer from T-Mobile to an EE contract if you wish by contacting EE CS. This is basically an upgrade process.

You could always port to another network on PAYG and then port back in. I know it's a bit of a rigmarole but then you might get new customer offers, although I can't see why you would get worse offers by just upgrading? Not quite sure how that works now!!

    Thanks for the replies.

The upgrade offers were absolutely rubbish when I enquired before and they wouldn't let me keep my T Mobile tariff anyway. The only way I can keep the T Mobile contract is if I keep it as a rolling contract.

As you know, people who take out a brand new contract usually always get a better deal anyway.

I just wanted to keep the same number that I had with EE, as I've had it for years.

Anoneemoose, I think that's the way I'll have to go.

    Thanks
