Isa question

I already have an isa from previous years and wanted to know could I transfer it to a different account and then put new cash into a new isa for this tax year or does this count as opening two Isas in the same tax year?

You can do exactly what you say.
There is no restriction on the number if ISAs you can open in a year.
There is a restriction on how many ISAs you can pay new money in to (subscribe)0 -
