Isa question

Options
I already have an isa from previous years and wanted to know could I transfer it to a different account and then put new cash into a new isa for this tax year or does this count as opening two Isas in the same tax year?

I hope the question makes sense
Thanks

You can do exactly what you say.

There is no restriction on the number if ISAs you can open in a year.

There is a restriction on how many ISAs you can pay new money in to (subscribe)
