if you have a couple of utility changes pending, I say go for it- but don't rely on the cashback to make any deal worthwhile.

It should be the cherry, not the cake.

    I have done QC for-
    home broadband
    mobile phone contract

would do gas & elec too, but have issues with british gas, they are not allowing any transfer at present..

Agree with the others - yes, but don't rely on the cash back to make the purchase worthwhile. Still shop around for the best deals and make sure you'd be happy paying that price without the cash back.

Quidco and tcb are definitely worth it. If you have the time to find good deals you can get lots of cash back but be wary of doing things just for the cash back.

  • Thanks for all the replies. I would t buy anything for the sake of it lol. Its my birthday next week and my husband wants us to stay at a hotel and they do cash back for that. I also do a lot of our shopping online so could be worth it.

I've signed up anyway so we shall see.

I use TCB and have made around £450 from it so far. Once you get in the habit of checking there before buying it is money for nothing. I book the occasional hotel for work, airport parking for holidays, a summer holiday coming up, an insurance switch here and there or a new 0% credit card and then make little earnings every week from Hungry horse for the curry we would get anyway.
You need to check that it offers the best deal but once you have done that just take the money. Some retailers insist you get paid cash but most will let you take it as vouchers such as Amazon (which you make an extra 5% on if you are a premium member).

I use it for big things and small things. So if I'm ordering a take away online I use it as well, Pizza Hut and Hungry House are on there! Only get about 40p, but it all adds up.

My biggest cashback has been Sky, I got £125 cashback when I signed up!

I have a Quidco account but find that I use TCB more often. They are both worth using if the item you are buying is the cheapest through their site. Last year I recieved £100 cash back on landlord insurance and will hopefully get similar again this year, it has tracked so fingers crossed!
