Quidco?? Is it worth it?

Options
Hi everyone,

Seen this Quidco being mentioned a lot, I've signed up but just wondering whether it is worth it?

Any stories?

I use Quidco. It doesn't cost me anything to use it and I only use it to buy things I was going to get anyway so I end up getting cash back on flights, insurance, holidays, flowers, makeup, anything I had already budgeted for really.

I have been a member for just over 2 years. I use it when I book business travel and for personal buys (sometimes I forget!) In that time I have been paid £1400 via quidco. So for me it is worth it.

I can't always use it as I stay in a lot of Holiday Inn hotels due to the corporate rate and they are not in the scheme, so for the amount it is used I think the monies I have got back are good.

Yes, it is free money, and if it is something you are going to buy anyway (even using insurance comparison sites you get something), why not?

Don't take up an offer just because of the cashback. It's not guaranteed and does sometimes get declined. Always compare between sites, pick the best deal for you, then go for the cashback if relevant. Consider it a nice top up rather than an intrinsic part of the deal.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I've not used Quidco, I am a member of Top Cashback though and they are good, I only use it when I need to though, if I can get something cheaper elsewhere then I will do! :)

Yes. Had about £1300 back in last few years. Always worth going through for my car insurance. And other buys.

Got £52 back from two betting site sign ups for grand national.

I didn't think about using cash back for car insurance, does it still work if you pay monthly for insurance?

I make sure I only use it if I was planning on buying the item anyway. I've had it since last summer and have had about £30 so far, and I have another £80 waiting to be paid.
The biggest ones are car insurance (£40 from Tesco - it was £10 more expensive than the next cheapest one, but I'm still making £30) plus a Grand National bet where I made £17, and also won £6!
