just moved house and still unpacking etc, need to let insurance company know we've moved but cant remember who we insured the car with? Ive searched out emails etc, and our files but nothing. We are insured as renewed car tax online in Dec, and know the insurance is due in August, but no trace of the payment as it was on an old credit card we since closed down (so no debts before we moved). Is there any way of finding out who we are insured with?

You need http://www.askmid.com/askmidenquiry.aspx0 -
If you purchased it online then you must have received some sort of confirmation email. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

As previous poster said-you will of received some sort of confirmation e-mail.Are you familiar with how to search your e-mails?Type in 'insurance' or 'policy' or similar in the search box in your e-mail account or search through e-mails received around the time you think you might of taken policy out.0

Your insurance company will want to contact you at renewal time. If by e-mail and assuming you haven't changed your e-mail address, no problem. If by post, just make sure you have done a Royal Mail redirect to your new address and you will receive your offer.0

Old card statement?
did you use a price comparison website? If so check if it's still in your history who your cheapest quotes were and if they seem familiar.0 -
Try doing a search of your email account for relevant words, try "Insurance" or "Policy" or "Documents"0
