I think you might find that version is just the upgrade version , and just converts from win 7 to win8x , without uefi ,


do you want to reset the bios to normal and try ,by doing a upgrade IN window's, it might actually allow you to delete partitions , I don,t know , not used the upgrade version

Stick with W7 for now then go to W10 later in the year. I actually like W10 from what I've seen of the preview so far however it's still a work in progress.

if you don't solve, you can try convert MBR to GPT before installation. in order to reach the goal, you can use disk management in Windows to convert to GPT on an empty disk. But if there are data on hard disk, you should delete all of them before you do the conversion. For most of users, deleting data may be not the best method. AOMEI Partition Assistant allows you to convert mbr to gpt without data loss.
