Morning folks!
Bob - I'm on the first coffee of the day too.
DNMS - hope that the no smoking is going well
pollygarter - eek about the plumber. We seem to have a spate of that recently.
FatVonD - here's to paying gigs!
Hannah - hope you have another chilled day
ziggy - hope the fences are coming along
I christened the new loppers by removing A LOT of the holly at the back of the house. I am SO sore today I can barely move! Now I have a huge pile of wood that I don't know what to do with. I tried burning it but it was too green. I'm going to leave it in the sun and hope for next weekend (cannot take to the tip as it makes OH too stressed).
Today I'm off to Manchester to see a friend. I shall take a bottle of water with me instead of buying one (as will inevitably happen). OH treating me to tea out probably as he also had a paid gig last night. If not, we have some chinese takeaway in the freezer that we can have instead.
There probably won't be much mse stuff today, but the purse will remain pretty much shut as am skint after yesterday's hardware store spree
Have a great day guys

Dear OH, who is a physio, recommends taking one ice cube and holding it in a tea-towel. Rub it over the most sore body parts a few seconds at a time. Repeat after an hour if no improvement.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Morning DFW-Ninjas,
Well, life goes on, and the debt goes down!
I've been off the grid for a few days. Because of our remote location we can only get a limited broadband package. Every so often we use so much data in the first three weeks we have to go without for the last week. That or pay £20 for an extra not-a-lot of data. We just managed without using the internet on our mobile and at work.
This is yesterday's list too:
The List:
:starmod: Prepare for friend visiting tomorrow.
:starmod: Huge amount of housework using Stardrops and washable cloths. What the smurf has happened around here? A tornado?
:starmod: Washing out on the line.
:starmod: Lovely free 5km run. The guys in the club have invited me to join another club as well but I'm not going to as there are fees. OH is going to put me through my paces running locally this afternoon. Free training.
:starmod: Try to get OH's computer to boot-up. It's having a giant tantrum, again. Forgot to do this last week.
:starmod: Possibly get the BBQ out later.
:starmod: Put OH's story tapes on eBay as a job lot.
:starmod: Sold unwanted postage stamps to a friend.
That's all for now. Good luck on your quests, Ninjas.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Bob, I found one rolled up in the bottom of my bri nylon nightie when I was a kid though I actually liked them in those days, I didn't develop the phobia until I was 11. I am a bit of a magnet for them though (a bit like cats always heading for the person that least likes them!) the cut through from my house to the station has them hanging down on threads from the trees in May and June so I have to go the long way to the station as twice I have got them on me and caused a huge scene on the train when I realised
I was treated though by The Speakmans and I am much better, at least at looking at pictures of them (which I couldn't do before) but every time Carrie posts about her loppers for one split second I think it says loopers (my absolute worst type) and my heart skips a little beat.
Today we missed the boot sale both for buying AND selling. Today is my last lazy day before going back to work tomorrow. Work is going to be mental for the next 7 weeks but I feel rested and ready to tackle it.
I need to do an online shop today, I seem to get way more for my money that way than shopping in the mid sized store without the full range. Online I just go through the half price stuff first then build the rest of my shop around that (no brand loyalty whatsoever!)
The eBay stuff is photographed ready to go on today.
I may pop some soups I got for my mum round to her this afternoon instead of going to bingo with her tonight so I can have a relaxing Sunday evening before the onslaught.
No news on the house yet but no news is good news, right? I'm thinking that they will be lunching with the MIL to discuss it some more and make a decision. Fingers crossed they decide to sell to us, I've mentally arranged all my furniture already!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Hello all,
Short list for me this weekend due to looking after baby GD again yesterday:
Sold 3 items on ebay
Did a car boot but only made about £15 (still, that is £15 I wouldn't have had, and a bit less junk!) Made about the same again for DD, as she had brought a load of her stuff around to sell. Took our own coffee and bacon rolls, so no spending our meagre profits on rubbish catering :rotfl:
Ocado grocery delivery, including loads of veg as there were good offers. I have plenty of meat and fish etc in the freezer to go with them
Still to do:
Make a big pot of chilli to use up bendy veg left from last week
A bit of paperwork for business
Put some sales stock away (boot sale purchases)
Put another item on ebay
Get an early night because I am shattered!
Thinking of you with the house FVonD0
