For goodness sake people. Stop being so self absorbed, look past your glitches and the end of your shopping trolly and look and see what's going on in the country.
I think you may be on the wrong thread #CHEEKY :cool:0 -

Scuffles at anti-austerity demonstration in London after Tory election win for example.
Appears to be an anti-austerity or anti-tory or both
It was meant to be an anti austerity march to show politicians the strength of feeling at a time when it was expected that parties would be in negotiations to determine which parties would form an alliance to form a government.
As it turned out, there was obviously no need to these negotiations to take place, so instead the march was overrun by a general protest against the conservatives being elected.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. DS2 has 2 exams left for his degree finals. Luckily the stress is at the end of a phone line, rather than permeating round this house.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I would say the original price is the relevant one for the 'worth' of the product.
The DTD is a separate matter that Tesco offer "in addition to your statutory rights" for incorrectly advertising the price on the SEL, and bears no relevance to the actual price paid for the item.I would argue that it is the value of the TV, so really it should be the full price, DTD is just a marketing tool like a cashback deal.
Thank you.
So do we think the value is the original price on the SEL, or original as in the price I paid (before getting the DTD refund)? I see the "in addition to your statutory rights" but wondered if my statutory rights were to pay what it said on the SEL, so in reality the SEL price is the one I can hold them to? I know I cannot have it both ways - claim DTD as I paid more than the advertised price, but then expect them to use the original price paid/on the receipt (rather than the SEL) as the basis for "value".
Wonders out loud what their computer system shows from the receipt nuimber ...
Sorry for all the questions, just wondering how far to push it.
Many thanks

Yep, tucked away on their website under the election page that people won't be looking at so much anymore. But actually broadcast? They gave about 5 seconds of coverage on Saturday and said it was an EDL protest. :wall:0
