Out of interest ... if you get an electrical item from T and get DTD due to an overcharge, and it then becomes faulty, is it the original value that should be used for calculating the "worth" of the product, the selling price at the time, or the price after DTD has been applied?
I have a TV that has broken over a year since purchase which I understand from reading online should still be covered beyond the one year warranty due to EU regulations up to two years, but I wondered what is reasonable to expect if T will not repair ...?
Many thanks

Tricky one, but I read somewhere a while ago that if it's a Tesco own brand TV they are made up of so many different parts from different manufacturers that repair is almost impossible and that they just give you a new one. Of course, you've got to get Tesco to realise that it is in fact 2 years (I think it's actually 3 though) and not one. If I'm right though, after 1 year you have to prove it was faulty from the start. If it is just a couple of days out of warranty then they make take pity on you.0 -

Had a lovely day at the Walkie Talkie building yesterday morning. It is free to get in, you have to book it online via their website. I think it is better than the Shard.
Spent the afternoon walking round St James park to see the VE celebrations. Wonderful atmosphere up there and delightful to see all the veterans telling the crowds their stories :T
Anyone know if the APG machine is behaving or is it still just comparing to M;s. Is it safe to to a HD for this afternoon with Radox and UDI's vs T's or was the APG machine only playing up for instore receipts?

My Nan will be spinning in her grave  There seemed to be a notion years ago that rain dirtied your washing and it had to be washed over. In fact she'd probably clout me for leaving it out in the first place :rotfl::rotfl:
Bless her :A
Good Morning
The reason years ago for not leaving the washing out was it got covered in soot when it rained.0 -

I would argue that it is the value of the TV, so really it should be the full price, DTD is just a marketing tool like a cashback deal.Mother in law admitted to hospital 2 weeks ago with heart problems and yesterday Father in Law admitted with a heart attack. Worrying times
