Depends what else is bought on the shop;). I was going to round it but thought "no".
It's currently not displaying 5 for £1 on a.com. Bet it'll show during the day tomorrow:(. If however this gets through the midday update, and is still go (bear in mind I'm probably stuck in Morries all day, so do watch for me folks:rotfl:), then I may well do a Sains shop tomorrow. May as well, as it's one item to the eight and, if I wait till later and then need to do a Sains comp, it'll undoubtably be off by then - way later in the week - and me back down to 7 items and stuck with useless fillers. Broccoli is still vs S. But 39p in Aldi:eek: - how big can we get in A? SP Cornflakes still on, but only so many packs of SP Cornflakes I can buy:(,...0 -
Decided to go ahead and order some go walk sketchers, left it to late for a size 5, so risked a 4 as i can send back if no good, thanks Lady Shopper for posting the code x0

I'm looking the Lynx showers (250ml) at the moment. Some are £1 but others are £2.37 (others £2.38) individual - hoping they are or going onto 2 for £3 - I'm used to seeing mbuys not on msm:rotfl: - and some £1 in Sains. Cool Metal 94p in M (but that's A £1:(). Got some offers due to start on Thursday - they seem to have moved some from Wednesday to Thursday - including branded cheeses going to 2 for £6 (wonder if they could be the Cathedral City?). Currently £1.82, so another price hike for the muggles if so. Anything that stops them from buying them at £1.82 on wombles though.... Although...Mr T is obliging, and seems to have put one version onto £2, let's hope it stays!:)0

Assuming this error is corrected on the Monday price collection, it should continue to glitch tomorrow but then likely end on Tuesday, is that correct?
I may be tempted to get a few more tomorrow as they have been a hit today in chez Anon.
Many thanks
Anon
Yes.
(I'll keep it simple at this stage, could add more ins and outs - if I ever get round to replying to someone else's post from earlier in the day today, but what you've said above is 100% correct.)0 -

No, I'd mentioned them, of course, or at least posted them, but I don't think they had been confirmed. I noticed these the other day when I was trying to find the 10p fillers -:mad:they seemed to have moved them in my store and trying to thwart any successful buying of the cheapest eight items possible - no white mice anymore, no rainbow buttons, they seem to be removing the items for fillers - I noticed the 160g bags, in my attempt still to find any of the others:mad::rotfl:, and thought how expensive Mr A is!
R'back 79p the SELs said. Bet that'll get some of the muggles (i.e. people that aren't then doing comparison checks) buying them. Not quite rolled back as much as they had previously been rolled forward - some people at least may assume that rolled back means it is a good price - weren't they 50p in A earlier in the year? (Wrong time to buy back then of course, as now works out at 45p, or maybe one at 44p, vs M:T. Extra penny for a shop that ends with competitor comparable total exactly divisible by ten, which could be achieved on 50p + 50p etc., but won't get more than the one penny.)0 -
Need to rest tomorrow as I know that I will have trouble even putting weight on my leg, so Poldark for me and a catchup on here :T Watched Vera, brilliant programme but best of all is seeing familiar places. I used to go to school in Alnwick.

Thank you for the code never had skechers before are they lightweight or clumpy please ? I have 2 pairs in my basket but unsure which to order
Skechers Go Walk 2 slip ons or Agility Free Time like trainers.
I am treating myself to 1 pair for all the walking I am going to be doing to and from work
Anyone advise please which would be the best to buy ?
The go walk slip ons are lovely tweets but definitely need a size smaller than normal. I have re ordered as the ones last weekend we're too big. Like floating on air.

I recognised the farm I think a friend I went to school with lived there. The lake I cannot put my finger on it, the name is there, I know it but cannot bring it to the fore grrrrrrThere's no place like home

been trying to get my house organised before depression sets in. I'm a bit more relaxed at the moment due to not having the pressure of having to go out to work but [2] I know I cannot relax and enjoy life because we won't have enough money for the bills now. Gutted I missed out on a coffee glitch because we're out of coffee but I only have a few APGs and what cash I have is spoken for so I need to budget carefully. I'll see if I can add coffee to an Udi shop then the Udis can cover the cost and I'll pay with APGs
[1] Don't worry - I was struggling getting between any screens at all with my new laptop, so completely missed it and by the time I finally managed to deal with the cumbersome ways of this website sometimes, I found dm had already opened his 100th thread in a row:rotfl::T.
As regards the rest, especially [2], I know (sadly from personal experience:() about depression and how hard it can be. Do try to relax more though, and I'd glad you are at the moment. I can't believe that, with your MSE skills (far beyond mine), you'd have trouble finding money for bills:(. There are many people who don't shop as we do and therefore must struggle to an even greater extent. I think you tend to over-think things (like I do:() and again put pressure on yourself to be the absolute best and budget in every way to perfection. Sometimes, life isn't like that and we have to accept things that are just alright. So don't be too upset about the coffee - surely something will come back around again or, at worst, you can end up with 10% off straight 'good' offer price but, making more much savings elsewhere, like you do, will be alright. If you adopt the same money-saving approach to your bills - switching suppliers etc. to find cheapest deals - you should be fine. Some things can be too obsessive and that shows in your concern over coffee and Udis, although, then again, it's also a benefit to us as we save more money and, despite the 'obsessive' nature to it all, in a way I'm suggesting more obsession e.g. dealing with the bills in a money-saving way. (So, maybe, an obsession, to a certain point, can be a good thing.)
You're probably a bit like me though. I often never buy anything at all as thinking everything is way too expensive but then I'm not doing something that would perhaps benefit my life. For instance, there's a load of gardening equipment out, that maybe I should be buying and making the garden really nice and then enjoying it, especially if we have good weather this spring and summer, but I never spend much. I am also a procrastinator on that - perhaps I have a caution over buying anything that might be paying too much, and then that caution is way too excessive, maybe I should be like 'most people' and just splash the cash every now and then* and just nip the whole thing in the bud and have done with it (via a good garden). Or maybe I'd just be falling a bit for the equipment that has been well-placed by the stores in the right place for them to sell to us much more:rotfl:.
*I haven't got time to investigate the price of every item, including all non-grocery ones, in every possible outlet before I buy it, otherwise I could just spend my entire life doing that and that would be no good. You can only take economic theory's assumption of "perfect information" so far (therefore, at some point, have to be satisfied with less than perfection). I've bought stuff before (including in A) and then discovered I'd paid over the odds as Aldi, unbeknown to me at the time, was much cheaper:(, so I did not have perfect information at the time of my transactional decision - but then I nearly always do not have perfect information however much attempts are made to try to achieve it!0 -
Bed calling me, dh been asleep since 10.30, knackered from all the digging and planting he has been doing over the past 4 or 5 days. Sound asleep when I go up. I do however enjoy a good book
