could be an idea for you to keep mums card as you are always popping in and so if she has any probs to let you know so you can sort it together, then make sure se has abit of cash.iknow its hard enough for us to deal with fraud but I feel sorry for the older ppl, cause these phone ppl can be very persuasive.hopeit turns out ok for u and mum.:A
Fraudsters don't necessarily use the card the same day.
Gocat, you and your mum need to ring the bank and CANCEL her card. They will send a replacement and she will be able to withdraw cash from the counter with ID if she needs to in the interimI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Afternoon
Went for a walk to sada for a look around
They had restocked the fairy.Luckily I had 3 apgs just over £9 with me.I bought 11 .The SA asked if I was doing a lot of washing up.i told her they were 50p.She said I wish I could get some because my daughter is moving into a flat.I got her the last 5.
No problem accepting the 3 apgs.It pays to be helpful.
I had fun walking home with 11 fairys.Good job it's only a ten minute walk. They were quite heavy.

£ land have 2 big bottles of morning fresh for £1 if you have no fairies
Although I've no idea of its cleaning power.0 -
Thank you. As we have seen this consistently for the past day, has anyone any theories as to why the old system is matching £1.54v£1 (or £3.08v£2 given the match elsewhere) when 11 are bought at 50p each, but not when 10 or less are bought? It can't be the normal RTC overridden by the multi price issue/glitch that we have experienced previously, as this is relying on 11 or more for it to glitch.
Many thanks

My theory is that their software is just shonky and that it is taking the website price when capping the quantity
Next time i'm in A will take a look at the RTC shelf for something cheapy to test
Unfortunately this appears to be an old apg only feature#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
Six weeks of campaigning and I have just had a knock on the door from an "activist".
Him- "have you voted yet today?"
Me- "No, I am going later on"
Him- "can I ask who you are going to vote for?"
Me- "No"
Him- "well how about Mr Misery Guts? Is he in? Can I speak to him?"
Me- "no, he isn't in"
Him- "well can I leave this for Mr Misery Guts?" Amd tries to hand me a leaflet
Me- "you can but it will only end up on the poo tray in my chicken house"
Him- "ok, thank you for your time" and leaves with his previous leaflet in his hand

Afternoon gang ..can hardly write as I'm so angry, I really am...
DD1 took baby to be weighed today as she is a month old and has put on nearly two pounds more......started at 7.5 and now 10.12.
Health visitor said its not enough as she is only on the average line and as she put on a lot in the first 10 days she must be seen again in a week as quote "its not enough".
DD1 is duly upset as she has battled through a lot of sleepless nights and is doing a great job of breast feeding despite baby having a tongue tie.
Health visitor didn't even know how to refer for that and sent her away to do it herself !!!!!!
sorry for the rant but all alone here and just fuming xx
Oh your poor daughter, she is doing a great job, just reiterating what everyone else has said really.
I breastfed both of my boys, ds1 until he was about 8 months and he just stopped one day and didnt want it again, I panicked because I never had bought any bottles or sterilisers and never had any formula milk in. So I just gave him cows milk in a cup, and he was absolutely find, until I told the health visitor, god she went mad at me.
DS2, I fed until he was about 18 months, he would have carried on for ever I think.
I had a problem with the health visitor when DS2 was born, they came to check his weight and me, as had c section, he was only about 8 days old, he was asleep when they came, they told me to undress him and put him on the scales. The scales were cold metal type ones, well, I undressed him and put him on, and his eyes rolled backwards.
OMG the next thing is she is standing up, telling me to dress him quickly, and she was on the phone ringing an ambulance. I was panicking because she wasnt telling me anything, the next thing I heard was, "baby 8 days old, possible brain damage" OMG, I was screaming and didnt know what to do, had my other son at home with me, couldnt drive as having the section, so ran to my neighbour in which time the ambulance came and took us to hospital.
Well he had loads of tests and the nurses and docs at the hospital, said he was fine, nothing wrong. I said to them, that he was asleep and had to be stripped and put on scales, I think your eyes may roll backwards if you were put on something cold.
They were horrified, that she had put me through that for absolutely nothing.
Guess what, the health visitor was a young girl straight out of uni, no children of her own and was the first visit out on her own. I never got an apology from her, but I did from the GP surgery. I never went seen her again.0
