    Define "large".
Just "a" glitch? More than that I'd say. And only 3 days?:rotfl:

What's prompting people's stores to speak to HO anyway? I haven't had any problems of yet (although, then again, I haven't been at £9 recently). Face it, though, if every store had just one member of staff contacting them, I doubt they'd have enough people at HO to handle that extra call volume!

Anyway, Ten O'Clock News has just ended, with excitement:D, as Huw Edwards finishes, goes across the studio and pretends to be going to sit down at the desk at the opposite side:rotfl:.

Maybe they have had a lot of phone calls over the confusion? Promoting them to issue something to stores where the staff already don't understand the old system.....never mind the new?

    Maybe......

Likely - I think sometimes somewhere may reissue something or talk about a new system but then people have queries prompted as they didn't understand the old one!:rotfl: Great post, thanks for that !:T
  • I think you've totally taken it out of context. :(

The message is very clear to see no matter what context you see it ;)

    Of course...I speak sense;)...

One of them was supposed to be the alternative - with the Clash "London Calling" - Mr Salmond going to London to fight for the SNP. Did I post the same one twice? I'm just going back to check that!

Yes...:eek:I posted the Conservative's version twice!

Thanks for spotting that - my browser didn't copy the second video URL when I pasted here. I've corrected OP - second video should be:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsBaB39TV54

From a while back. I'm already humming the tune:rotfl::rotfl:!:o:o:)

It's always seemed to me that the staff training on APG is very poor indeed. I had to tell an SA how to enter a £10 + APG on her till last week and she thanked me  :rotfl:
No reason to believe because they're trying to improve the APG, they'll improve staff training.

I thought I only had new, I tried incognito, internet explorer etc and still new.

However, by chance, I was in an incognito window, and whereas normally I type in "asda price guarantee" in google, I just typed in "asda price".

First thing that came up was highlighted purple, so assumed I had used it before and it would come up with new again. However, when I clicked on enter receipt, it came up with old.

This still works for me now doing this. If I just go to the asda website and click onto the 10% price guarantee bit on the front page, it goes to new.

I've just tested out the above but not doing it in an incognito window, and it still defaults to new. However, opened an incognito, and it went to old.

No idea why, I'm not techie at all, but just thought this might help! :rotfl:
    How do I do a `incognito window` TIA

Oh, they are having glitches aren't they?:( Still not finding receipt (on old site) and now over 4 hours since the shop. Not to worry - I'll try again later and, even if it goes to another day, it should still, hopefully, give whatever the day ended with, otherwise I'll just treat it as one lost - not to worry - not too much spend and several bottles of bigger Fairy WUL at 50p each isn't bad.

sorry I wouldn't normally quote pics to clog up the thread, but seriously ...yeah like a wart!! :rotfl::D I am not a fan, all she is doing is driving a wedge between Scotland and the rest of Britain

If she is, then good as the sooner we are out of this union, the better. :)

I braved the weather to go to Shrewsbury - Had a written timetable of shops I had to go into in the limited time I had :o:o

And managed almost the complete list :rotfl:

I calculated 25 minutes in QVC, 5 minutes in Poundland (tips, papers & lighter)
20 minutes in M&S to buy Fourp some jeans with the M&S vouchers we found his Mother had left. Unfortunately here I pfaffed about which colour?, summer or winter weight? Vouchers wouldn't work on SS Till, had to be moved to a manned till....
    Wasted time :o:o
Onto L'Occitaine to collect my free gift.

Then got seduced by the £10 off £25 spend MOC & purchased my Mum some solid perfumes for her 80th.
New SA, who spent 15 minutes gift wrapping them (anyone watch Rowan Atkinson in Love Actually?) Even cut ribbon in a V to stop fraying - lots of squirting perfume on yellow tissue paper too :rotfl::rotfl:
Beautifully done & gift tag added so I don't have to wrap them up myself :)
She then added lots of free samples too.
Megan - your first day & your birthday too - credit to you ♥

I have never used the L occtaine voucher for freebie before as in Cathedral town and parking a nightmare. Might have to drag mum in. Could do Hotel Chocolat at the same time. Does anyone know the end date of this offer please.
    Knowing my luck probably today.

Weather still very windy here with some rain and flaming cold. (Will please Naebbirac :rotfl:)

Got a slightly larger than expected pp with my curries today. Will check tomorrow to see why. Wasn't a very targeted shop as phone was dead but we did pay for Bliss yogurts and mums quaker porridge sachets in a different shop.

Wanted to happy scan some toys but no clubcard on us and can't get a hand scanner using T credit card much to mums disgust.
Think I saw snap ants chocs from weekend. We're they the ones with mixed colour wrappers or black wrappers please. Doubt I will go back for them but might help other locals.

I hope Altojack is ok. Not caught up yet to see if she has given an update.
