It's strange isn't it though? How certain things, at certain moment, cause us excitement and then don't.
I was watching the TV through yesterday - and, suddenly, at one particular moment, "it's under 36 hours away!", I got a bit excited - even though they had been saying the same much of the day and I hadn't previously. Now excited at a Jeremy Vine piece, even though one earlier in the day I just watched neutrally.

It's very exciting:D:D. I'm excited - are you feeling it?:D:j:j:rotfl: Excited at the TV coverage of the election rather than necessarily the election and voting itself. Very exciting, last night, the 10 o'clock news, from the election studio:D again, and tonight as well but, strangely, strangely, a little bit less excited about that tonight. I don't know why - it's just, strange how things tug our emotions, whether a lot positively or the reverse.

    Evening all

So tonight I decided to do my first APG shop since the 22nd April. Had a voucher for £9 odd to use, went to put it through, SA came to see it and said it had to be authorised. Fair enough says me. I stood waiting for 20 minutes  to be told that I couldn't use it. She had spoken to HO and they weren't honouring any large vouchers as there is a glitch in the system. I asked how long it had been going on she said 3 days, I then pointed out my receipt was from the 22nd :p She then tried to tell me there wasn't 8 items on my receipt... and that the times didn't match as on the voucher it ended 00 whereas the receipt was 22. I did ask her to open the til and look at any other vouchers she had to see that they were all the same, but she wouldn't.
    [...]

    Define "large".
Just "a" glitch? More than that I'd say. And only 3 days?:rotfl:

What's prompting people's stores to speak to HO anyway? I haven't had any problems of yet (although, then again, I haven't been at £9 recently). Face it, though, if every store had just one member of staff contacting them, I doubt they'd have enough people at HO to handle that extra call volume!

Anyway, Ten O'Clock News has just ended, with excitement:D, as Huw Edwards finishes, goes across the studio and pretends to be going to sit down at the desk at the opposite side:rotfl:.

    Of course...I speak sense;)...

One of them was supposed to be the alternative - with the Clash "London Calling" - Mr Salmond going to London to fight for the SNP. Did I post the same one twice? I'm just going back to check that!
  • Yea, just goes to show how low some people will sink to use their kids for political aims. Wholly inappropriate really forcing a young child to carry a banner !

I think you've totally taken it out of context. :(
