    Good morning Elite :hello:

Not posted since my early morning one yesterday :o. Had spent such a bad night I had to have a home visit from the doc.

End result is I'm allergic to the liquid morphine  and doc thinks I may have a blood clot in my leg so I'm going this morning for an ultrasound scan then onto the assessment unit at the hospital where I had my op.

Right, need to go get ready, see you guys later x

Oh dear altojack, at least you know what the problem is now. Hope they can get the drugs out of your system quickly and sort this possible blood clot out too :(

:hello:Right, I'm here and possibly now all the way until Sunday (though not physically here, on this thread, but 'here', at home). Actually I will pop out on Thursday - what am I thinking? Getting ahead of myself, not yet Friday:rotfl:.

I think that, sadly, I have stolen my own thunder, knocked the wind right out of my sails. One of my "headlines" (later on;)) was going to be After Eight Mints (300g). They are currently 94p in M. I found them showing 94p in my first store. Sadly my second store showed £1.88:(, which led me to look into it further when I reached my final store (It's going to be final today anyway:rotfl:) - I notice the offer ends 6th May. You might catch them if you are very quick, if they picked up the 94p price on Monday. However, not to put with Harpic Toilet Cleaner, as the Original at least is returning M at £1.99:(.

94p is a very good price for After Eight Mints, so much that M obviously does not want to be having them at that price for too long! :think:If the offer ends today, then they 'should' have picked them up at 94p today and they'll then compare to that alll the way until Tuesday.

However, I doubt that anyone really desperately needs items such as this. (It's more a tempter than a neccessity.) Anyway, all for the sake of some mint in them - and SP Choc Bars at 100g at 30p are still cheaper.

They had some Toblerone in one of my stores marked down from £3.00 to a "Reduced to clear" at a ridiculous £2.49:(. Were vs Waities at 75p ages ago. More ridiculous RTCs later.

Once again, I'm not doing the updating until much later, as I've only just walked in. There isn't a great deal that's gone up in price in M though, except for the notable exceptions of the 1L alcohol bottles that were at my guide price of £15. (I now have a guide price for them:rotfl:.) All of them have now shot up in price - and may have done so on Monday, so I'd avoid them.

But the After Eights - almost sneaking an offer past me whilst I wasn't looking - may have only had that from Bank Holiday, unless they put them to 94p straight after last Wednesday (anyway, I'm waffling:rotfl: - see you later with more details!).

When you say didn't work do you mean they came back as N/A or didn't count as an item to compare?

    TIA

so in theory if you have 10 s/p items in your sada basket which have the identical size, shape and price in !!!!!! so you spend say £3 - these in themselves should add 30p to your APG to make the 10% difference ...

But even if things come back as NA they still count towards your quota of items?

This is all making me very nervous of doing a sada shop even though I could do with Nivea wipes ...

I have some Roses on a womble, not quite due for checking yet. They managed to buy some at a higher price than any of the ones showing on msm:rotfl:. They are £5.50 - will they turn out to be the Mixed Roses (probably not:rotfl:) and will they compare against M at £2?

    We'll find out, later!

Actually, what would be good (from our POV) would be if some of the packs of alcohol that are reduced in M by just £1:( compared to £1 on the APG:rotfl:!

I presume the loose lemons are picking up M price though? Sadly they bought too few to see if M's 4 for £1 was picked up. And the Cherry Tomatoes and the Bananas, Cucumber and others (may not be so good)? I assume that is the comp. vs T and S?
