Tbh I think all of our days are numbered with APG's and it won't be around much longer but from past experience as one door shuts another opens. Keep your chin up.

POPPY - When you say you were honest did you tell them about their flawed system? I've often wondered if that is the best approach.

I'm guessing at the end of the day they can always fall back on the 'not entering the spirit' clause, just as Tesco did.

Good afternoon everyone
I did a test c&c shop with the fairy wul that was posted yesterday ,

new apg system for me from today which says wait 24hrs so creamcake checked on old and came back as NA .

I knew it would be risky as its Morris and Tuesday ,

For fillers I get 5 different bags of sweets £1 no triggers and 3 travel size thingys for £1.20 ok some might giggle at me paying 2.20 on fillers but I see it as the amount I save and get back far outweighs the £2.20:p

It is one thing items not matching, particularly own brand where you can argue about the comparability of products or not or products of different sizes. You can almost forgive if the competitor price is NA (because it was missing at the exact moment that their robot or M price collector checked). But it is quite another if A are missing lots of items from the A side of the comparison - that is just cheating and not playing fair ...

That said, we do sort of rely on them missing some items otherwise we would not have any invisible triggers .

Wonders out loud how many missing items are acceptable before we get annoyed with them ... perhaps we need to make a list (Savvy!) of regular fillers that do appear on the new APG until it settles down ... though it does mean probably having to buy quite a few more items to accommodate other missing items.

I can't find chomp or caramel freddo on A com (new T&Cs state 'items must be available on our Grocery website'), unsure which weight choc buttons and dairy milk but maybe they are missing as well.

Radox and face wipes mostly worked at 11 am today. Got a rather bigger APG than I bargained for - decided to treat Dh and me to a pack of those rather scrummy CBY cream donuts at £2.25. I thought they had stopped working but they still compare to T's at £1.25. This was on the Old System.

PS the donuts do NOT work on the new system and the Enchanted Radox doesn't work on the new either. (Well it didn't for me)
