Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »It is a very, very sad day for me today and I have no idea if/how it will affect my future Elite shenanigans..:(
I went into my local A this morning for some normal shopping with my wife and daughter to get some bits for a bbq. I noticed a woman that I knew to be management looking in my direction and speaking to someone on her mobile.
Anyway, we carried on putting various bits in our trolley and 5 minutes later, this manager pulled me aside and asked if she could talk to me privately.
She told me that what I have been doing is not in the spirit of the apg scheme and I am therefore, from today, banned from using apg vouchers in the store. This is my only store within 20 odd miles so this decision effectively kills off instore glitching for me.
Probably my own doing as I got too friendly with some SAs (to make spending large apgs easier), however, it appears that some jealous SAs overheard conversations and went to management.
Might have to have a voddie or two tonight to get over the shock..:o:o
Oh no  how embarrassing for you - so sorry to hear this, perhaps they might allow you HD ?0 -

I am also very sorry to hear this SFSB. You have been amazing (I have only been here a short while, but you have stood out from the crowd).
Perhaps now would be a good time to go into partnership? Maybe try to find a few friends to help with glitchy shops but still do your own muggle shops?0 -
Sorry to hear about your APG ban SFSB0

Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Apgs generally under a tenner, so no real issues there. Think it was just the amount of times I was in there, my friendliness with some staff and jealousy of other staff that was my downfall.
I am quite open about it, I have a couple of times over the last month been pulled over. I am very honest and if they ask me I will just tell them. A couple of weeks ago in north London I was paying for my shopping and I was flagged by security and taking into the shoplifting room. The manager and 5 other staff then followed me into the room. I would say the atmosphere was VERY negative at the start, After 5 minutes of being allowed to speak and showed them that the vouchers were real and above board the atmosphere changed after 10 minutes of chating from me and the staff the manager told me that as long as the vouchers are from Asda then I can continue to use them.
I have his assurance that I can keep using them while asda continue to not fix this error. The next time I was pulled over a few days later the manager then come over and said she is allowed to use the vouchers. last Friday while walking past the manager he turned to me and asked me what was glitching this week. :T
I have never had another issue in the store.
On the bright side Shortfatscotsbloke you do still have C&C and H/D0 -
