Evening all
FC did dd stay out past the bewitching hour and turn into a phone less pumpkin.
Be firm, explain this is how trust is built up, not only trust in her but also her bf who is responsible for her safety when he takes her out.
I once collected dd as she tried asking for extra half hour. I didn't answer just drove to collect her and walked into a night club in my pj's. Never again.
I had only arranged to pick her up as she was with friend who were not as streetwise and was condition of their parents letting them go out.
I am sure tomorrow will go well. Just a normal Sunday at home. Doubt you will be able to escape to the garden much as I think tomorrow will be wet.
I wonder if the kids will interact with your oh or treat it as the norm and be off in their own rooms doing their own things (those children still in possession of their phones obviously:rotfl:)
My trip up north went well. I managed to stop my BMF buying a money pit and instead he is putting in an offer on a charmingly unusual cottage. Structurally sound and that was what I was there for. Amazing how much further money goes there but I could not be tempted to move out of my adopted home town.
Time for sleep as dd is in with me and already be asleep a couple of hours. Not sure if I could get away with putting the telly on now.

It is, with DD2 not being local at the moment we have been limited on what news we have heard. So just been relying on others facebook feeds and reported news. I hope she can keep this positive.0 -

O bless you V :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
She is home now, and fighting for her right to maintain her phone:rotfl::rotfl:
I really was her as a teenager :eek: I used to sneak out to see OHI climbed out of windows and down drainpipes to be with him
no one stopped me EVER! :rotfl::rotfl:
I know it sounds corny but he really did throw Chips at my window and I climbed out for a kiss and a cuddleI loved the elusiveness of it
no matter what happens, there are things you won't ever forgetthey might not last forever but they make good memories

It did with me too, I drove past their road earlier, often think about them. I see the man walking around sometimes with his cap and newspaper bag over his shoulder.
And don't be so sure you have not met me yet. :eek:0 -
