    Safely home.

Not without a bit of panic, they shut the roads off near the night clubs now.

Shows how long since I have been out on the town to Bournemouth. :o I had planned my route to drive past newly named nightclub that many times I had been picked up from or picked up others. Can see how that will read in the morning. :rotfl:

Anyway barrier across road. And didn't want DD3 walking around on her own, it's 10 times worse than when even DD1/2 used to go clubbing.

Went down a road that you used to be able to rat run through and bollards at the end so now start to panic. :o 3 point turn back on dual carriageway and try to enter town centre from a different route. Drive down the road to come up against another barrier one side that said road shut.

But other cars are driving in, mostly taxis admittedly but Tinyshoes follows suit. :o Drive past a few clubs on the way down and drunken revellers are trying to hail me down like a taxi.

I decided not to turn down road club is in as no one not even taxis are going down there. Phew find a parking space and ring DD who had been ringing as had told her to stay in club until I got there.

So I had to get out car and meet her on corner, while loads of lads chanting, forgot everyone would be celebrating the Cherries getting in Premier league.

Eventually safely reunited and got an "Evening" from the police officers as we walked back to the car. Didn't like to ask if I should have driven down or not. ;) There were loads of cars parked down there so anyone's guess.

And blue lights flashing at least half dozen on the way there and back. Glad to be back home. :T

    Goodnight all :A

elliemoo I def. will go back to Belfast when I can but you know what families are like. I take my parents etc etc back to Mayo/Galway where they are from every year and once they get talking..... there's no moving them...but I will go again, I'd love to see what changes have happened.

Belfast is a great place to visit now.....lots of lovely caf!s, bars and restaurants. If you do manage to get there, take a trip to Bangor. The town itself is a bit rubbish but the coastline we have is beautiful. I'm so blessed to have that on my doorstep.
