Little insight into the apg sites, putting in TC# for my muggle shopping and got the 8 items message (plenty more than 8 unique items), so tried on new apg.... at least they are honest about the system being down!#CHEEKY :cool:0

How much is the cathedral city in A right now
http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#promotion/ls85171
Completely untested, no idea what state of play was around lunchtime update etc.
£3 each and 2 for £6
If they are really £4 and 2 for £6, which would be £4.40 back on £6 spend for mature only - the mature seems to be an exception as the other 350g varieties are £4 in T.
4 flavours are £2.50 in Sains so maybe £3.50 back on £6, again assuming £4 in-store....
Got plenty of cheese in at the mo so I won't be heading out:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

It was fine. Long, and too many needles involved, but fine. However, I never ever want to have diuretics injected ever again. Had them last week and today. When you already have a crazy bladder it's not fun. Made getting home a nightmare!
Anyway, all done now unless they're going to spring anything else on me.

if I can help you know where I am.....
Nice to see you having something to smile aboutyou deserve it
Thank you.
doesn't sound as overwhelming now:)
I know where to start so I will try and get wheels in motion next week.
One of the reasons I wanted the month to myself.mum is keen on this particular route. I could buy outright but worried about tying up all my money incase my kids need something. Knowing I have an investment to pay the balance of is my comfort blanket. Never know interest rates might rise one day or my premium bonds might come up.
I am very lucky to have been left in this position and need to know I am doing the right thing.
Sale on dad's is coming along slow and steady. Our buyers know if they lose their sale for any reason it will sell again straight away and we will wait for them.
Don't quite understand why probate said tax payable but there isn't. Something to do with property charge and we have to show to tax office to reduce liability.
annoying as adding 6 weeks on. Still our buyers are not ready yet.
If you want to try the slow cooker idea pm me for quick ideas. You could even batch cook mash or baking potatoes and reheat as needed. Or nothing better than frying mash up the next day, serve with sausages, baked beans and an egg. Or if your kids will eat corned beef then bung some in mash and fry up.
I know lots of 10 minute meals:)

The Italian Breadsticks are back at 50p in M, but they didn't compare on the APG last time.
Meanwhile, I don't know why I had the Mini Chicken Breast Fillets as I can't see them at all on the info. I've collected - I assume that it was one of the Chicken Tonight sauces that got changed into that as I did find one of those missing from the list. Now corrected.
The equiv. to Ex. Spec Aromatico Cherry Tomatoes are still 99p in M, but not making the list. Meanwhile, the price on the equivalent to the former cheapest tomatoes in M appears to have increased - they've now changed the packs from being priced by weight - £1.29/kg - to price per tomato. I selected one pack as a sample and weighed it - based on that weight, and it could be wrong as it was just one pack - but probably isn't - it was about 600g. The cost of the packs is now 95p, rather than varying by weight. Cost of 95p for 600g is about £1.58:eek:/kg.
This makes them as expensive as the loose tomatoes used to be! They, themselves, are now priced per tomato in M - and it seems that price is somewhat higher than what it would have cost for a tomato on the old price by weight. Of course people generally have no clue as to how much a single tomato should cost:rotfl:. (For example, elsewhere, with bananas for instance - and they are one of the few items where people actually know the price - people, all the time pick up those packs of 5 at £1 round pound prices = 20p per banana - some even marked "Just 20p per banana!", apparently clueless that a single banana should cost about half that.)
Meanwhile - and finally I get there! - a couple of price changes in M yesterday where items going on more expensive mbuy prices:
In my first store, it seemed to me that the Right Guard Extreme shower gels were going up from £1 each to £1.99 and any 2 for £3! Indeed, that was confirmed by the second store, which happened to have both labels on:rotfl: They'd left the old price label (expires 26th April) next to the new one:doh:! (I think it may have been 99p, but, anyway, point made.)
Later on in my first store, I saw some Flash Degreaser Spray. Sadly it seemed obvious that the price on that had been put up too - and that the new "offer" was worse than the old one (from the customer's perspective) - they'd now put the new label on the shelf and left it alongside the old label that they hadn't removed:rotfl::rotfl:!
Two labels, left to right:
First one, solely for Flash Degreaser Spray 500ml, said "Now £1 and crossed out £1.50. Offer ends 28th April." Oh - so they may in fact be putting the price up tomorrow:doh:!
Second label, which applied to "Flash Spray & Bleach/Bathroom Spray/Degreaser Spray 500ml" (thus appears to include the same Flash Degreaser Spray) - now, could the new price be better than the £1? No! The new offer: £1.50 and "Any 2 for £2.50 Ends 24th May":rotfl::rotfl:.
So, a price increase of 25p each (you would pay a total of 50p more for buying 2) compared to the previous price.
I think, amongst this, they also had an eday low price yellow sticker sticking out from the old £1 offer label:rotfl:. So, it seems either the £1 was the everyday low price and it is now going up in price (on both counts) as no longer £1. Or £1.50 is the "everyday low price" and the previous price of £1 was cheaper than this costly everyday low price!:D
That's it from me - goodnight. It seems constant M list as I am back again tomorrow. Busy day too - thank goodness there's a bank holiday next week that gives an extra day's wait till the next one after.
Goodnight!:):wave:0 -

Hi Munqui I am getting the same message not enough items but no message to say that the site is having problems.
IMortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
Can set up another bank account along side the tsb and use that to switch to others. Is it the TSB plus as I think thats the only one paying interest.
Here is a list I found elsewhere of the current accounts paying interest.
Santander 3% for up to £20,000
TSB Plus, 5% for up to 2k
Nationwide flex direct 5% up to 2.5k
Lloyds Club 4% for 4-5k, this also allows access to a club lloyds monthly saver where you can pay in 400 per month (again 4%)
Bank of scotland vantage 3-5k is 3% (can open up to 3 of them in sole name).
Tesco bank, 3% up to 3k (can have 2 of them in sole name)
each of these have certain amounts that have to be paid in each month but can use the same £1000 or so and just do the rounds each month. Also some need direct debits but can set up 2 tesco esavers and arrange a £1 DD to put in these each month, if you run out of DDs .
hth.
That's exactly what I need to get me started. Many thanks gocat :T
ETA Yes, it is the TSB Plus.0 -
