Savvybuyer wrote: »To be fair, I agree with a few of those complaints and I've highlighted them! Yes, Savvy thinks that boats should be air-conditioned:rotfl:. Obviously there are differences of opinion as to what a "fully equipped kitchen" should include and that one is on the borderline: but maybe, on balance, a "fully equipped" kitchen ought to include an egg slicer. Eggs are often made in kitchens and you should have an egg slicer in there, though this one is not clear-cut. :doh:Perhaps they mean the decor and the fittings rather than the equipment. But, if so, why say it is "equipped"? And then say it is "fully" equipped?
If you're picturing a beach and it shows white sand, it should be accurate. So, that one I agree with - although it is a "material" enough thing to be misleading?
As regards beaches being "too sandy", strangely enough I've always had to clean everything after I've been on a beach with sand - and I've never yet felt that that was an issue to complain about. Many of these are obvious things - you wouldn't expect anything other than the very situation that is being complained about, which is of course why those complaints are silly. But I didn't need to make this obvious point:doh:.
Right, I'm back to M list - just a little bit before lunch and then I'm back after to do the main part - good job I left some info. (albeit in a mess) on this website as msm appears to have cleared out my basket and lost all of what I put onto here, so I can start afresh with the next section of items (maybe I managed to clear it in the go-slow problems overnight?).
I think they meant there was no air conditioning outsideOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -

I think you may have mis-read 16, I read it as there was no air conditioning outside whilst they were waiting ...
I didn't think about it although, alternatively, I thought they might have meant their apartment was not air-conditioned (which may be a fair point) rather than the boat not being air-conditioned. I don't know - it could have been two separate unrelated complaints and a situation that we were given no context. So, I don't know if I've misread it or not - I thought there were other possibilities and went for one that it might mean.
If it means no air conditioning outside, in the open air, though then clearly that's a silly complaint! What - that the atmosphere, of the open air, is too stuffy?:rotfl::rotfl:
EDIT: Just to clarify - in fact I didn't think of it meaning no air conditioning outside as I thought that was so silly and stupid that they could not have possibly meant that. If they did though then, :doh:that's why it's a silly complaint!:rotfl:0 -

Still here, I in the doghouse with dh:eek: now. With only a day to go I should stick it out. Maybe I should, they are now saying that I can maybe go this afternoon if I can do the stairs. Confuseddotcom
How do I know when I've gone too far, told dh he needed to ring hospital to see what's going on about going today or tomorrow, he hasn't so I told him not to bother visiting today, he can't drive anyway so can't take me home, oh well never mind, with luck ds3 will visit, he has a car
Thanks for the 'pep talks' last night and the good wishes of today also, I've missed you lot such a lot, crazy isn't it . Yes it is :rotfl:
A week without a ciggie, no ecigarette, no patches nothing
Off for catch up xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Yes, I think it might mean air conditioning outside - as they could have been waiting in a queue on some walkway to the outside though (like a bus shelter but much longer) and complained it was stuffy there!
I think you saw the obvious intuitive context immediately, whilst I was reading the words, seeing a couple of different interpretations and then eventually reaching that context. Now you've told me that possibility, it does seem the obvious 'taken in the round' one (rather than the examination of the detail and miss the context).0 -
Few bargains on the clearance shelf at a small Boots this morning.
These compeed blister plasters down to £1 and Buy one get one half price. There was also soothing small and corn ones too. Maybe worth looking if you are passing one as these were not short dated at all, 2016. :T

They also had gel feet cushions for 50p, I got a Kiwi ball of foot one and picked up some plaster spray that was short date and got the get one half price offer too so that only cost 25p.
Picked up 3 bottles of short date (does it actually goes off) tea tree oil £1 each and that was on 342, not sure what offer it was under. But very pleased with 3 bottles of this for £2.

Ah I see from link it is in vitamins, complementary medicines and herbal products 342, wish had known that before I went. There were some other things I might have bought.
There were also some men's products 50p/£1 and no not those sort David. Men's shampoos, hair gels etc. L'Oreal and Big Fish think it was called.0 -
